|  | Overview - The Edinburgh Easter Festival will provide the City with a fantastic day of performances, concerts and displays over the course of the Easter holiday. Events will run all day on Easter Sunday 16th April 2006.
| | | | The 'Easter Play'
Following it's tremendous success last Easter, on Saturday 15th April, the second 'Easter Play' will take place in Princes Gardens. For more information go to www.easterplay.org
| | | | Easter Sunday, 1.30pm - The principal Festival Day will be Easter Sunday, when events will begin in Princes Street Gardens at 1.30pm. Here, two major international stages will provide performances and specialty acts from all over the world, intermingled with a great variety of the very best local performance talent. A fantastic fun-filled family atmosphere will ensure a great afternoon for performers and spectators alike. There will also be many free activities for children and families, including Maypole Dancing, Circus Skills, Face Painting and an hourly Easter Egg Hunt for under 5’s.
